Kolinsky Sable is the best hair available for the manufacture of artist brushes due to being conical in shape, strong in character with a long tapered point and thick belly.

Rosemary Series 66 Kolinsky Sable brushes are ideal detail brushes for any medium, flat and broad and coming to a perfect point. This brush has inward tension on the hairs and it therefore will press into the most precise, fine and precise organic line and always waiver right back to its razor sharp point. It is indispensable for super-fine complicated detail.  This is a favourite brush of mine!
