I love the irony of how the sun reflects on the icy fields as brilliantly as it would on dancing water. This boat sits on its cradle, in Little Sands, PEI, dry docked, motionless, waiting and waiting - just as the town’s residents are - for winter to pass. It is cold, it is bleak, lifeless and night is falling. But nevertheless, these fields and this boat are basked in the warmth, light and life of the sun and are exceedingly beautiful, despite the harsh season.
