These beautifully made Nobel substrates are made with a gessoed masonite board, with a 1 1/2" Gallery Profile softwood cradle on all four sides. They are smooth and ready set for painting with acrylics or oils. I have put them into compact, nesting sets to make easy, economical transport to worksites or to your galleries. All sets compact down to 1/3/4" deep! They are fantastic for economizing studio space, and just GREAT for travel. Each set is tied with a sturdy, soft cotton cord that creates a perfectly balanced  carry handle that is easy on the hands for transporting.
