Meeden - Water Media Paint Tins

These well-designed tins and pans are excellent products. They are the most compact, durable and usable little watercolour or gouache cases available. Constructed out of tin, enamelled inside and out, these easy to clean cases are durable and up to any treatment a water media, plein air painter can throw at them.  All sizes come with a fold out mixing tray and have a lid that doubles for one as well. The back of each tin has a handy (literally!) hoop for your thumb to holding the case as you paint.  For filling your case, you can buy your paints as manufactured dried 1/2 pans of colour, or you can create your own by squeezing your favourite colours of tubed water paints into the provided individual, removable and adjustable plastic pans. These standardized little containers line up neatly to securely click in an out of the track for perfect organization. Note that your box can be further customized with different pans that are also made to fit - full pans that hold twice as much paint. For holding and not spalling out unused paint, the rectangular, deep configuration of either pan very much outperforms rounded wells of any kind. Note that half pans have a capacity of 18 ml and are 2.0cm x 1.7cm x 1.0cm.

Tins come in three different exterior styles (Plain Black, Blue Wash, Multi-Colour Wash) and in three sizes:
