Ivories are the legendary brushes that Rosemary is most famous for. They are made from a form of synthetic hog this makes a superb workhorse brush, with excellent spring, strength, nimble edge and incredible resistance to wear and tear.

This #6 Filbert is an outstanding detail brush, with a  perfect ratio of strand thickness to length to number of strands and therefore, it significantly outperforms the #4. It is razor sharp and keeps its flattened edge. It is a perfect workhorse for filling in, spreading paint around in patches and for finer line and wider long wavering lines.  It is the perfect for leaves, shards of light on snow or skin, shadows and drapery. I love and depend upon this brush.
