Golden Heavy Body Artist Grade Acrylics - Quinacridone Magenta

Golden heavy body acrylics have good slip for workability. This artist grade, transparent "Quinacridone Magenta" is a very slightly cool primary red. Of all the Golden reds, this is the one you need for mixing most of colours. For brilliant, high-key "fire engine" reds and oranges, Golden's "Primary Magenta" is a better choice, with its trace amount of yellow in it, and its specific mixing properties. Because of its transparency, Quinacridone Magenta is of course ideal for glazing to make the underlying pastel colours more luscious.
