The Evergreen fibre is a little softer than the Shiraz fibre and therefore, for the acrylic and gouache painter, it is perfectly agile.  I would recommend this Evergreen Filbert to detail out shapes and lines of various widths and configurations.  It is a go-to for irregular organic lines and spaces. It is the perfect size to maximize both strength and flexibility of the fibre. It is good work-horse for clouds, draperies, figurative work or water!
